Africa’s Big Five. Lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant. Plus, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, and hundreds of bird species. This is the Kenya you’ve read about and seen on TV. So, leave the beach for a few days and join us on an adventure you won’t find anywhere else. You’ll journey to three of the finest national parks to witness the wildlife, savor dramatic landscapes, and meet the local tribal people. This medium-length tour is an immersive yet relaxing introduction to the wonders of Kenya.
You’ll begin your safari at Tsavo West National Park, a striking mix of savannah, rolling hills, and every sort of wildlife this country has to offer. There’s even a special rhino sanctuary to protect this endangered species. At Mzima Springs, expect to get close to the hippos, fish, and birdlife.
But we’ll spend most of our time at the renowned Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s largest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Known as the best place in Africa, if not the world for viewing free-ranging elephants, you are guaranteed to see stately herds of the great pachyderms parading before fields of acacia trees, with great Kilimanjaro as a photographic backdrop.
Our safari finishes at Tsavo East National Park, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, and impala, lots of rugged terrain, and active watering holes. The game drives here will cover plenty of territory to discover the park’s active and colorful wildlife. And should you have any preferences – more safari or more relaxing time – just let us know. At Hidden Treasure Africa Safaris, we want your adventure to be perfect.
