What a wonderful way to explore Kenya and its prime national parks. This 4-day African Safari will introduce you to some of the oldest and the largest wildlife reserves in the country. Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks are known for their big skies and imposing wildlife – all the big five are here. Amboseli Park is a gem, sitting at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro and boasting vast herds of elephants for your enjoyment.
Tsavo East National Park is the largest protected reserve for wildlife in Kenya. As one of the oldest parks, it has a great history with stories of ferocious lions dating back to the 19th Century. You’ll be impressed by the wildlife and the great watering holes where they go for nourishment. Sister park, Tsavo West National Park surprises with its colors, rolling hills, sparkling natural springs, and even recent lava formations. You’ll be looking for all of Africa’s Big Five on its golden expanse.
By contrast, Amboseli National Park is small but dense with wildlife – all the Big Five are here, and more elephants than you’ll see at most parks. So many in fact, that sightings are guaranteed! Framing all this natural wonder is the iconic form of the legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro, looking over the park.
