3-DAY SAFARI – BEACH TO BEACH & TWO GREAT PARKS

Journey from Diani Beach to Tsavo East & Amboseli

3 Days, 2 Nights: Tsavo East National Park – Amboseli National Park

Starting from/returning to Diani Beach area resorts. We’ll pick you up from your hotel.

Enjoy this amazing safari in a customized pop-up roof Natural World 4×4 Safari Jeep that has a portable fridge/Cooler Box, 4 Binoculars, long-range high-frequency radio, Sandbags, 4G/LTE broadband WIFI connectivity, Power Outlets AC 230V, First Aid Kit, Safari Guide Books, Baby Seats A(on request), Side steps (on request) and above all a professional multi-lingual safari guide that will ensure you have a memorable safari experience.

Add a safari adventure to your Diani beach vacation. It’s only a 3-hour drive to Kenya’s largest reserve, Tsavo East National Park. There’s plenty of wildlife to enjoy amongst the rugged landscape here. Tsavo East is known for its lions, but there are also leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, elephants, impala, zebra, and over 500 species of birds in this renowned park.

In contrast to Tsavo’s vast stretches of savannah, Amboseli National Park promises a different safari experience. A smaller and open reserve, the park’s size makes it easier to spot game. Amboseli is known as the best place in the world to view free-ranging elephants. It is also framed by the massive vista of Mt. Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest peak.

From your Diani Beach or south coast resort, we will set out early, heading for Mombasa and then travel along the scenic Mombasa-Nairobi highway. In just about 3 hours you’ll get your first glimpse of Tsavo’s red clay soil at its southern gate.

You’ll know you’re not at the beach anymore when Tsavo’s immense landscape opens before you. There will be time for game drives this afternoon and stops at Mudanda Rock and Aruba Dam, two reservoirs that attract hundreds of thirsty animals. You’ll be sleeping tonight in the park at the safari lodge or tented camp of your choice.

Day 2 Tsavo East – Amboseli

We’ll rise with the sun and enjoy an early breakfast – then another game drive through Tsavo as we leave the park and head to Amboseli Park. Accommodations for this evening will be at Amboseli and you can lunch and relax there after the drive.

The afternoon will see us traversing the park under the lofty peak of Kilimanjaro. There will be plenty of elephant sightings as well as chances to see lion, cheetah, Masai giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and over 300 bird species.

If you wish, we can arrange a visit to a local Maasai Village to meet its people and learn about their herding lifestyle.

Day 3 Amboseli – Diani Beach

It’s another early day, enjoying the African sunrise and (weather permitting) views of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro as we breakfast.

Another game drives through the park provides a final opportunity for wildlife viewing as we depart Amboseli, heading back to the Kenya coast and the Diani resort area.

All-Inclusive. Your 3-Day Tsavo East/Amboseli safari includes all ground transportation, accommodation in a choice of economy, comfort, or luxury safari lodges/tented camps, park entrance fees, game drives, all meals, and pickup/drop off at your Diani and south coast locations.

However… please know that whatever level of accommodation you choose, your actual safari adventure with us will always be at our highest standards.

Transportation between parks and game viewing will be in a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep – this vehicle is the safari standard with its higher seating and rugged all-wheel drive.

Your Guide. You’ll be guided, hosted, and cared for by an expert and experienced driver/guide.
